Don’t Allow an Offense to Become an Obstacle

“Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.”

Colossians 3:13

Trials, disappointments, and even offenses can become opportunities for God to refine our faith and strengthen us. 1 Peter 1:7 reminds us that genuine faith is tested and purified like gold in a fire.

Don’t allow an offense to become an obstacle in your moving forward.

Don’t allow what someone did—or what happened to you—to keep you from experiencing new beginnings, healthy relationships, new experiences, new opportunities, and new endeavors.

You may not be able to control the offense, but you can choose whether you carry it with you.

Forgive. Heal. Learn. Grow. Move forward.

And most importantly, don’t allow yesterday’s offense to steal today’s joy, tomorrow’s hope, or your peace along the way.
